Meal Charge Policy and Unpaid Meal Procedures
Note: Students order lunches in the classroom every morning. These order forms are just an aid to help ensure the student orders on days they do not have a home lunch. We order lunches daily from Chartwell’s at 9:00 am. If your student is not present in homeroom, a lunch will not be ordered for that day. In the event that your student will be tardy, please call the office before 9:00 am and order their lunch

We are going through a transition with scheduling for the After School Program. We ask that you please fill out the monthly form for your student(s) that are using the After School Program and send it in with your payment before the 1st of the month. If you have changes during the month, you can call or email and change it on a daily basis. Please notify KHA before 2:00 pm of any changes.
Thank you

Parent Notes (to KHA)
Arts and Leisure Program – Throughout the school year, KHA offers after school enrichment programs. The KHA Arts and Leisure Program was designed to offer activities such as music, drama, soccer, baseball, art, and many other activities at a low cost to families. Sessions last for approximately six weeks and are taught by either KHA teachers or consultants from the community.
Title I Programs
KHA receives Federal funds to help support Title I eligible students that attend KHA. A student qualifies for Title I support if she/he is below the benchmark in reading, writing, or arithmetic. KHA uses Title I funds for after-school tutoring throughout the school year as well as for a summer school program. The after-school tutoring usually takes place once a week, and lasts from ½ hour to 1 hour after school. The summer school program lasts for 2 weeks, 5 days a week, 2 - 4 hours a day.
Both the after school tutoring and summer school programs are taught by KHA certified staff. All instruction using Title I funds is aligned with the KHA curriculum and designed to help students meet state and school-wide standards in all academic areas.
Title I programs are free of charge. To sign up your child for tutoring or a summer school program, please contact the KHA office, contact Ms. Kerry Dailey at kdailey@kingstonhill.org or ask your teacher.
