May Chief Administrator Update

Greetings Kingston Hill Academy and Happy Friday!

Thank you so much for such a warm welcome to KHA these past few weeks! I have enjoyed all the greetings, cards, letters, and especially the beautiful artwork on the front entrance wall from the students and staff.

I will be continuing to immerse myself in the KHA community in May and June. My focus until the end of this school year is to learn and observe as much as I can about KHA so that Mr. V. and I can then collaboratively work together as a team on preparing for the upcoming school year. I will continue to visit classrooms, attend meetings, and other various activities as well as build relationships with staff, students, and families. In addition, I have also been working on budget, health insurance, bus contracts and completing a variety of financial responsibilities. In addition, I have been attending several other meetings and some have included Board meetings, PTO meetings, Finance meetings, Literacy meetings, and Staff meetings. All are vital in gaining perspective and knowledge.

On another note, I have enjoyed ELPs these past two Fridays and I even was able to play some Gaga Ball last week! Petting of the puppies last week was a bonus as well! The students and staff are so respectful, polite, and extremely kind!
