Good Friday
Just as a reminder, we do have school this Friday, March 29th.
Solar Eclipse
As you may already know, there is a solar eclipse happening on the afternoon of April 8th. As a learning experience, we have purchased 300 pairs of solar eclipse glasses and will be viewing the eclipse as a school community. Additionally, these glasses will be required for students to wear on the bus and during pick up as the peak moments of the eclipse will be occurring during the rides home.
KHA Family Dance
It’s almost time to boogie! Our annual KHA Family Dance will be on Saturday, April 6 from 5:00-8:00. This year’s installment will be beach-themed and include a DJ, Photo Booth, Painted Tattoos, Pizza and Snacks, and more! The admission charge is $10 per person and tickets must be purchased by April 5th. Children under 4 and volunteers are free. Please CLICK HERE to sign up to attend and volunteer.
SurveyWorks Update
I guess that y’all really wanted to see me in a chicken costume! As of today, we now have 111 responses! Thank you so much for taking the time to fill out the survey. That being said, it always looks good with a very high response rate, so if you haven’t had a chance to fill it out please consider doing so 🙂
State Testing Season
State testing for students in Grades 3-5 is right around the corner. As a small school, it is imperative that we have 100% participation, so please make every effort to have your child(ren) present. See below for the dates. Please note that there was a subject change for 5th grade, but it doesn’t affect the dates.
